Meet the Chaplain

Fr Michael is the Catholic Chaplain at the University of Lancaster and Episcopal Vicar for Education and Formation in the Diocese of Lancaster. He is resident on Campus living in the Catholic Flat in the Chaplaincy centre. Caspar, his 9-year-old Weimaraner is also resident.

After completing a history degree at the University of Nottingham he taught in Dover prior to studying for the priesthood at the Venerable English College in Rome, where he specialised in Dogmatic Theology.

Fr Michael been a priest for many years and served in parishes across the Diocese of Lancaster as well as in the field of education. He is a Trustee of the Diocese of Lancaster.
